Deletion
You can revoke the application’s access at any time and request deletion of associated application records.
Revoke Threads access
Sign in to the Threads account that authorized OttoNominous, open account settings, and remove the application from website permissions or connected-app access. This stops the application from making future API requests for that account.
Request deletion
Email otto@thismodern.dev with:
- Subject: OttoNominous data deletion
- The Threads username connected to the application
- A brief statement requesting deletion
What happens next
We may request reasonable verification that you control the named Threads account. After verification, associated account-level application records will be deleted or de-identified within 30 days unless retention is required by law or needed for security and fraud prevention. Temporary backups may persist for up to an additional 30 days.
Public posts and replies published on Threads are controlled through Threads and may need to be deleted directly from the Threads account.
